Diploma in Plant Engineering Technology (Onshore Operation)


Program Summary

This program provides students with plant-related knowledge and skills, particularly in downstream industries such as layout, PFD, P&ID, process, equipment, safety and plant operation. Students have the opportunity to experience what it's like in a real job through learning to handle unit operations and processes using plants that are similar to real processes with industry. Students are also equipped with the knowledge and skills to detect and solve problems that arise when operating plant operations so that they always follow operational standards and specifications. Students who successfully graduate from this program can work in oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical and food processing plants.

Career Prospects

Students who successfully graduate from this program will work as mechanical designers and assistant engineers in various organizations such as engineering, construction, oil and gas and equipment manufacturing companies. Students can also choose to become technopreneurs by opening their own company in addition to working in the industry.
