

The Diploma Program in Plant Engineering Technology (Mechanical) provides graduates with majors and minors in plant engineering (Mechanical), fabrication and operations. This program also equips graduates with theory and practice through practical design classes, engineering principles in addition to computer aided design (CAD) such as AutoCAD Plant 3-D and Pattern Development (Plate and Sheet).
Normally, students are required to apply their knowledge and skills in the use of software to produce designs and engineering drawings. In addition, students also need to carry out maintenance tasks for mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, air conditioners and so on.

Students who successfully graduate from this program will work as mechanical designers and assistant engineers in various organizations such as engineering, construction, oil and gas and equipment manufacturing companies. Students can also choose to become technopreneurs by opening their own company in addition to working in the industry.
